CEO & Co-Founder
Co-founder of AxeTrading, Ralf has over 15 years' experience in Fixed Income electronic trading and is responsible for technology and software development at AxeTrading. Holding a degree in Computer Engineering, his past experience includes designing and implementing bespoke Fixed Income pricing and trading systems for JP Morgan and other leading Fixed Income dealers. Ralf is a strategic business developer with familiarity of trading markets in different countries. Prior to co-founding AxeTrading, he contributed to the start-up and development of several other successful Fixed Income trading technology companies, each of which remains successfully in business today.
COO & Co-Founder
Dinos co-founded AxeTrading in 2009 and has over 25 years' experience in Fixed Income broking, sales and electronic trading. His previous experience includes, among others, a senior role in credit e-sales at Citigroup and a Fixed Income electronic trading dealer sales specialist role at Bloomberg: both positions held in London for 5 and 7 years respectively. Having acquired more than 16 years' experience in Fixed Income/Repo trading and electronic brokerage, Dinos' in-depth technical and business knowledge in this sector has earned him a strong reputation among his peers, colleagues and clients.
CCO & Co-Founder
A Co-founder, Mark is Chief Commercial Officer at AxeTrading. Previously Mark gained over 17 years’ experience at Bloomberg, including senior roles in Fixed Income electronic trading. Mark has specialist experience in selling and implementing bond auction systems, trading platforms, and primary and secondary market Fixed Income trading systems in developed and emerging markets. He has worked with national treasuries, issuers, and the Buy- and Sell-side implementing Fixed Income electronic trading in many countries around the globe. Mark brings additional in-depth Fixed Income electronic trading experience to the AxeTrading team.
Hannes is AxeTrading's Chief Technology Officer. With a Masters Degree in Computer Science and over 10 years’ experience in Fixed Income electronic trading systems, he leads the software development and testing team of AxeTrading. With a solid understanding of business and technology, his expertise includes product design for electronic trading of Bonds, FX and Derivatives as well as evaluation and implementation of market data systems. Hannes’ skills-set enables AxeTrading to respond quickly and accurately to our clients' requirements.
Head of APAC Sales
Kem has over 20 years of capital market experience and joined AxeTrading in 2017 to lead sales in the APAC region. Over the last 10 years he has worked as a Senior Director in Societe Generale and HSBC’s Fixed Income electronic trading teams. Kem helped to grow the Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets businesses through his expertise in electronic trading, market structure and execution advisory services.
Kem honed his etrading knowledge with roles at both Bloomberg and Reuters but started his career at Hemscott in the late 90’s. Having worked at both Sell-side and vendor institutions, Kem has been able to have unique insight of market structural changes over the last 10 years.
Kem holds a Business Administration degree from the University of the West of England in Bristol.
APAC Senior Sales Manager
Zhang is the APAC sales manager at AxeTrading. She has more than eight years of experiences in banking software business, with extensive understanding of the Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and wider SEA markets. Prior to AxeTrading, Zhang held business development, sales, account management roles at AGDelta, created new business strategies in China, HK and Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia. She successfully launched new digital product idea for her client in Singapore, which helped the client increased their revenue by 30% within 6 months.
Zhang Yuan holds a B.A. degree from Oklahoma City University.
APAC Senior Sales Manager
Alex is a Senior Sales Manager for APAC at AxeTrading. He has extensive experience selling complex enterprise software to Financial Institutions across South East Asia.
Prior to joining AxeTrading, he worked for Wolters Kluwer Financial Services as the Sales Director for South East Asia. He was selling enterprise solutions for Finance, Risk Management and Regulatory Reporting to banks across the region. Prior to that he was with Moody's Analytics selling Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Capital Management Software Solutions and Services.
Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree Major in Management of Financial Institutions from De La Salle University in Manila.
EMEA Senior Sales Manager
Valerie is a Senior Sales Manager responsible for Sales throughout EMEA. She has extensive experience selling market data and platforms across the financial industry. Prior to joining AxeTrading, she worked for companies including Credit Benchmark, Thomson Reuters and Shell Trading. At Thomson Reuters Valerie sold market data and Execution Management System (EMS) to buy side clients. More recently she managed the relationships and drove new business at Credit Benchmark a company specialising in alternative credit risk data. Valerie attended Cass Business School and received a Bachelor of Science in Banking and International Finance.
EMEA Senior Sales Manager
Pierluigi is a Senior Sales Manager responsible for Sales throughout EMEA. He has significant experience in Fixed Income Electronic Trading and Front Office Solutions sales. Before joining AxeTrading, he worked for companies including Broadridge, LCH Group, Bloomberg and MTS Markets. At LCH Group Pierluigi sold Credit Default Swaps Clearing Solutions to buyside clients. More recently at Broadridge, he sold Front Office Solutions for Credit and Private Markets. Previously Pierluigi gained over 11 years’ experience at Bloomberg and MTS Markets selling Fixed Income Trading Systems and Trading Platforms for OTC and Regulated Markets. Pierluigi holds an MSc in Finance from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
Head of Integration & Support
Greville has over 15 years' experience in the FinTech sector and a further 10 in Emerging Market Fixed Income trading. He has a track record of providing growth for small to medium sized technology companies as a strategic thinker able to align operational efficiency with business growth. Prior to AxeTrading, he worked as Chief Operating Officer at EMBonds, achieving FINRA authorisation and MTF certification for the electronic Bond trading platform prior to its successful growth and eventual sale. At Formicary in his role as Chief Operating Officer he oversaw the growth of its software business and led multiple consulting engagements for Banks and Hedge funds using the skills he learnt in his role as Business manager for the Local Market and Hard currency trading desks globally for WestLB. Greville graduated at the Liverpool University Economics Department and holds ACMA and CGMA Qualifications.
Subject Matter Expert Lead
Sven leads the SME Team at AxeTrading. He has 25 years’ experience in capital markets, bond trading and fintech, which he applies to enable AxeTrading to identify opportunities and market trends in the Fixed Income Technology space. Prior to joining AxeTrading he worked with fintech start-ups in London. Previously, he was Head of the European Government Bond trading desk at UBS Investment Bank. He was a key driver in the transition to electronic trading, automation and algorithmic trading which transformed that business into a leaner agency driven model. He represented UBS at the Primary Dealer Board of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) and worked closely with the major market participants, trading venues, regulators, policymakers and government bond issuers.
Ivan joined AxeTrading in late 2017 to lead sales and product development for AxeTrading’s Buy-side Fixed Income EMS. He previously worked as a senior salesperson at MarketAxess, growing the Fixed Income eCommerce business in German speaking regions and CEE. Ivan contributed to increasing the market share in Cash bonds e-trading and built Open Trading’s client base and participation in the region.
Ivan started his career as a Fixed Income specialist in Bloomberg and gained his expertise in e-trading technology during his role at Bloomberg’s Sell-side Trading Systems, selling TOMS and ETOMS solutions in Emerging Markets, Germany and the UK. Leveraging an extensive Sell-side and Buy-side network, Ivan has been able to marry the technology solutions needs from both sides of the market to help us define a future-proof product roadmap in line with the evolution of the Buy-side trading workflows in Fixed Income.
Ivan holds a BSc in Financial and Business Economics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
